Live where you play.
Play where you live.
Craneridge began in the mid-1960’s by a developer and a group of investors hoping to create a unique living environment. Originally it was thought that Craneridge would be a “weekend retreat” for skiers, but it has evolved into a year round home for more than 170 families. The Craneridge Association was formed to take care of the day-to-day business of the neighborhood. The Board of Directors is composed of members of the community who volunteer their time to help maintain what we believe is a one-of-a-kind place to live.
Craneridge is located approximately 30 miles south of Buffalo, NY in what is traditionally known as “the snow belt.” Don’t let the phrase “snow belt” scare you. While it is true we get more than our share of the white stuff we also know what to do with it. The town and county keep the roads clear. The recreational opportunities the snow provides range from downhill skiing at Kissing Bridge, located across the street, to snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in Sprague Brook county park located adjacent to Craneridge (an easy walk). The park is also a great place to snow shoe in the winter and hike in the summer. During the summer months the park also provides a place to picnic and play tennis. And, all year round, it offers a wonderful place to watch wildlife. Craneridge also provides recreational opportunities with a pool and playground area in the center of the neighborhood and an open meadow for soccer, baseball and volleyball.
In Craneridge, most of the home lots are round with space between each lot. This common ground is left natural and provides for wonderful views of the outside from within each house. In fact, in many cases you cannot see another house from yours but you have the confidence that a neighbor is there if you need help or need to borrow a cup of sugar.

The Craneridge Homeowners Association has some of the most interesting properties in Western New York with our circular lots, the surrounding woodlands, proximity to Sprague Brook Park, Kissing Bridge, and the surrounding Town of Concord, as well as our common properties, community pool, and shared amenities.
Mission: Enhance our living environment through woodlands stewardship, shared property maintenance, and community building.
Vision: A community of friendly, caring, and respectful neighbors who cooperate with each other to maintain the health of the woodlands and grow the value of both our properties and our friendships.
